In order to make the beach accessible to people with limited mobility, the municipality makes five beach wheelchairs available free of charge. These wheelchairs may be used throughout the year. During the beach season (April to October) these wheelchairs can be obtained from various pavilions. The location of these pavilions is indicated with a (beach wheelchair) beachcomber flag.

During the beach season (April to October) the beach wheelchairs are divided between the following locations:

During the winter months, all beach wheelchairs are available from beach pavilion “Koele Costa”, near exit 21 at the Zeereep to the north of Koningin Wilhelmina Boulevard.
